As a contributing professional in the design field of both government and private entities, Josh has been privileged with the opportunity to learn different ways to utilize his talents in layout design, product concepts, and vector art. Taking a form follows function approach toward design has not only helped Josh develop productive concepts for clients, but has set him apart from the norm. In addition to his experiences in the field, Josh has completed studies in fine art, design, and music education at two different universities. His course background includes studies in digital design, 3D design, drawing, and Native American arts. Along with Josh’s focus in design, he uses his strong background in music educating and other humanities when he gets a chance. It’s common to see Josh working with students or preforming around the area.
As Co-founder and CEO of Covalent Designs Josh is focused on bringing a down to earth, streamlined approach toward doing business. At Covalent Designs he feels that working with a designer, concept artist, etc. should be a productive experience so you can move forward with what you do best.

What We Do
Here at Covalent Designs we take ideas, sort through them, and find shared elements that can be used to create a concept. Just like only a few elements on the periodic table make up the building blocks of life, these shared elements from ideas are the building blocks of design.
Next our design team takes these elements and creates concepts based on a “Form Follows Function” approach. Each concept is evaluated based on the application needed.
Finally we take the concept or concepts and mold them into a strong, functioning design that fits the clients needs. This process helps us offer our clients a personal but streamlined business relationship and the design they need.
If you think you would like to be a part of our process and the Covalent Designs team, send us an email, call or better yet both. We are always looking for new employees and freelancers to add fresh ideas, and help out with our process.
